My Work Crew!

What time is it?

It's Cleaning Time!

We didn't have much school work to do yesterday so it was cleaning day for all of us. School is scheduled for a four day week so that gives us an extra day do whatever we want including cleaning. Everyone pitches in to help out which is great.

Cai cleaning the big window in the dining room.
Abram cleaning the stools. He looks happy doesn't he. Fortunately, I know how to get him to smile. (See below)
This is what he really felt about the task.
Don't worry Sarah, your day will come!! By the way, Emma is napping during the time.

Mommy shelling peas.

Ian took a few pictures of me doing some of my jobs so that it wouldn't look as if I don't ever do anything. Don't want it to appear that I am a slave driver!! However for those of you who think we just have large family so that we have servants, you are missing the big picture. It takes everyone in a household to work as a team whether it is large or small. These are life skills that will help each one of the children out as they prepare for manhood or womanhood.

Tate cleaning the glass in the entertainment bookcases.
Cade cleaning the floors.
Ian cleaning the floors.
Mommy mopping the floors.

We have hardwood floors throughout the whole house so it takes longer to really clean the floors. Cade and Ian are finally big enough to help clean the floors. They sweep and I mop.

These are only pictures of things before lunch time. Cade and Ian get most of their chores done during nap time for the others. Such as watering the plants, dusting, ironing the kids clothes, cleaning bathrooms, mow the yard, etc.

We are the Shelby Team!

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
