15 years Ago…

15 years ago today, I was getting ready to walk down the aisle to make a promise before God to my beloved.

15 years ago today, I became a wife to my beloved and he became my husband.  The Lord continues to knit our hearts together in ways unspeakable.  Oh how, I love you more today than I did on that day!

The Lord has blessed me with a man who loves the Lord, loves his wife, loves his children, loves God’s people, and strives to honor Him in all that he says and does.  Who could ask for any more?  I’m so thankful for you, My Love.

15 years later, here we are together.

15 years later, we are blessed and thankful for each and every one that the Lord has blessed us with to teach and train up in the ways of the Lord.   Thank you, Lord, for granting us these 15 years together and I pray that you would grant us many more years to love one another and serve You!

14 Years and Counting…

anniversary copy

It’s been a great, full, and busy 14 years.  My Love, I love you more today than I did the day we were married.  I love how the Lord continues to knit us together more and more.  We have been blessed with 9 beautiful children to train up in the admonition of the Lord.  It is a great task but I’m thankful that we get to do this together.  I look forward to many more years together!!!  May the Lord continue to bless, protect, and grow our marriage even more as we grow in Christ.

I love you, My Love!!!

Happy 13th Anniversary

happy_anniversary-1527

The voice of my beloved!
   Behold, he comes,
leaping over the mountains,
   bounding over the hills.
My beloved is like a gazelle
   or a young stag.
Behold, there he stands
   behind our wall,
gazing through the windows,
   looking through the lattice.
My beloved speaks and says to me:

"Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
   and come away,
for behold, the winter is past;
the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth,
   the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove
   is heard in our land.
The fig tree ripens its figs,
   and the vines are in blossom;
   they give forth fragrance.
Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
   and come away.
O my dove, in the clefts of the rock,
   in the crannies of the cliff,
let me see your face,
   let me hear your voice,
for your voice is sweet,
   and your face is lovely.
Catch the foxes for us,
   the little foxes
that spoil the vineyards,
for our vineyards are in blossom."

 My beloved is mine, and I am his;
   he grazes among the lilies.
Until the day breathes
   and the shadows flee,
turn, my beloved, be like a gazelle
   or a young stag on cleft mountains.

Song of Solomon 2:8-17

I love you, Rob!

I look forward to the

next 13 years together

with you, My Love .

Happy Anniversary!

Happy 12th Anniversary My Love!!

This was taken back in November 2001.

This was taken on our 10th Wedding Anniversary.

Rob took the day off and we went to Wanetri Lakes for the day with the kids. It included paddle boating, picnic, walking trails and playing on the beach and in the water on the Amite River. It was a day of fun and family.

This was taken in Sept. 2008.

We have had a great weekend together. Rob took the day off on Friday and he came with us to the zoo field trip. We ate lunch at Las Palmas on Friday. He and most of the boys worked in the yard on our patio project some of the day while I cooked for church. We ended the day with dinner at Olive Garden with the children.

Today will be a day spent worshiping our Lord together and spending time with the brethen. This happens to be a long weekend due to Memorial day so Monday will hopefully include more work on our patio project and dinner at the Lindsays.

Thank you Father God for blessing me with this man who has a heart for your son, Jesus Christ. Thank you Rob for 12 wonderful years together. I am truly blessed beyond measure to have you for my husband. I love you so much more today than I did the day we were married. I look forward to many more years together.

May the Lord continue to bless and protect our marriage!
