Iron Skillet Brownies with Homemade Fudge Sauce

Obviously, I have been in a baking mood. We usually don't have "real" dessert with dinner unless it is a special occasion or if we are having guests over for dinner. This was just because and it was good!
We were having a Mexican Fiesta for dinner. Enchiladas, Refried beans, Spanish rice, Guacamole, Chips, and Salsa. I just love Mexican! Of course, I love lots of different food. So why not add these delicious brownies.
My dad's wife, Ginny, made these for us last time we were in WM. She added homemade ice cream with toasted butter almonds and fudge and whipped topping for a sundae. Yum yum!!
Hungry yet?
This is the secret ingredient.
Chopped almonds toasted in a skillet with butter!!

Melting the chocolate and butter in the iron skillet.

After the chocolate and butter melt, you remove from heat and mix the remaining ingredients in the iron skillet. Next, you add it to your dish and bake. Can you believe that it only had a 1/2 cup of flour for a 9 X 13 dish?

Too bad I didn't have any ice cream!

DELICIOUS!

Sorry! I do plan on bringing my Ribbon Bar Cheesecake to the Thanksgiving celebration next week! (Cheesecake with an oreo bottom and a chocolate ganuash (spelled that wrong) sauce on top:) Will that make up for it some...just a little?
