Death By Chocolate Trifle
Box of brownie
Lg. box of chocolate pudding
Tub of Cool Whip
Candy of choice (chopped)
Make your chocolate pudding following the recipe on the box and put in the refrigerator. Mix up your brownies and bake. Pull them out just a little earlier than you would for your normal brownies. After they cool for a brief time, take a fork and tear them up!
Layer your trifle dish as follows: brownies, chocolate pudding, cool whip, candy and repeat ending with candy.
I have used Nestle Crunch, Andies Mints, Reese's Cups (Rob and Cade are allergic to peanuts so I can't make this often unless I am taking it somewhere that they will not be or will have other choices! It is by far my favorite!!:)) Hershey Bars and Heath Bar. I found that you can buy the baking pieces of Reese's Cups, Andies Mints and Heath Bar which saves you time chopping the candy.
Hope you enjoy! This a very simple dessert with an excellent outcome. Let me know if you try it.

This looks sinfully delicious. I think we may have to "forget" about our no sweets goal and try this one. Thanks for sharing!
If you leave the avocados in a brown bag with an apple or banana, they will ripen faster. Also Rachel Ray says you can pop them in the microwave for a couple of seconds. However, it appears that there are mixed reviews on this method.
This looks so yummy! My mouth is watering. :)
Any way we can get the enchiladas recipe? :)
boy does that look good!
Anonymous,
Not sure who you are and you must not want me to know either since you didn't sign your name however I would love to post the recipe for you. It is a simple recipe. Can I post about it tomorrow night? We will be having them again and I will take a picture of them to go with the recipe. By the way, these were beef enchiladas with a red sauce. I have a chicken enchilada with a sour cream sauce and it is really good too. Thanks for checking out the blog!
I am a friend of Candi's. I happened upon your blog from reading hers. I left that anonymous because I didn't want you to think that some strange person was stalking you, but I guess thinking about it now, that's probably exactly what you thought!!!!! Anyway, my name is Jennifer and if I ever comment again, I'll be sure to leave my name! And thanks for the recipe! I LOVE cooking (and blog snooping!!) and always looking for new things to try.
By the way, I really enjoy your blog. It's nice to see families doing things together and enjoying it!
Jennifer,

I already have the recipe ready just waiting for a picture. By the way, nice to meet you. Candi's husband and my husband have know each other since they were little boys. Our families are very close!
