Seals

While studying about the Cyrus Cylinder, we learned about the seals that the people used to stamp their clay objects. Also, kings would use their special seals when they wanted to show their approval of something .

We decided to make seals to stamp on our Cyrus Cylinders. However, they did not turn out well. At least the boys enjoyed rolling the clay and making the seals. They baked well but did not stamp well.

Each one designed his on seal the way they wanted it so it could be his special seal.

I guess some projects turn out good and some flop but at least I tried. For those who know me, you know that I am not big on crafts or projects. Just not me but I try for the sake of the children!
