This is a mystery creature! 
Excuse the spider web on our patio lights! Friday night it was raining outside and for some reason Rob decided to turn on the lights on our back patio to look outside. He noticed this thing in the corner but neither one of us knows what it is. He thought it was a bat but I think it was a bird getting out of the rain. It was gone the next morning.Anyone have an idea what this mystery creature might be?

It's a bird...we have one that comes under our patio too...at first I was confused by your post, because I have a picture just like that :)
I agree with the bird. He has his head turned and tucked. Candi and I have spoken and you are correct! HAHA

I am with Candi all the way. When the picture pulled up, I thought I had somehow posted one of my own pictures. If you accidentally scare it, it will fly away fast. It will scare the fool out of you!!

hi amy! we have a little carolina wren that does the exact thing on our back porch. i keep telling dh to build him a platform for a nest.
