Fire Pit Fun

Saturday night, Rob decided to build a fire pit on our patio.  We’ve been talking about buying one but hadn’t yet.  He used an old-fashion wash tub, fireplace rack, and wood for the pit.  It worked out ok for the evening.

He went and bought some firewood, wieners, little smokies, and marshmallows to roast over the fire for dinner.  The kids were so excited and had a blast.  The little smokies worked out great especially for the little girls.  We’ll use these again for camping trips.

Here are a few group pictures of us.  I let Ian take a turn with the camera in order to get into some of them.  Rob used to not be in any pictures and then we got the nicer camera and I started to get left out of them.  I want to be remembered in some of the fun!

Also, I thought of my blog friend, Cinnamon, from one of her post with her family around the fire.  She had a cute one with her and her husband so we tried to do the same!

It was cold outside so little Asa stayed inside and played on his mat on the floor.  Thought I would throw one of him too since he missed out on the fun this time around.
