Update #2 ~ CT Results

P1120023

Ian has been sharing Woof Woof with Asa.

Our wonderful pediatrician called us last night around 10 pm to give us the results of Asa’s CT scan.  Poor thing, she was off yesterday and ended up having work some and she was hoarse and not feeling well but wanted us to know something before went to bed.  Like I said, we just love her.  Thanks Dr. B!

OK, the CT scan showed that Asa has Metopic Suture Synostosis.  She does recommend us to go out of state for surgery.  We have found a doctor in San Antonio, TX that has developed a less invasive technique to treat craniosynostosis.  (alternative: cut him open from ear to ear)  Dr. B is going to help us with getting everything set up with this doctor.

We have a friend whose daughter used this doctor for the same thing 3 years ago along with someone else in the area that gave us info.  Their daughter was treated by this doctor as well.

Now, we will be working out the arrangements with doctors along with the children during this time.  We appreciate your prayers and ask that you continue to pray for Asa and us as plans develop.  I will keep you updated during this entire process for us.

We still praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ even in the mist of this.  We have been praying His will be done.  This is the path that has been given for us to journey on so we pray that He would get all the praise, glory, and honor through this situation with our sweet, little Asa.

Amy, I'm sorry the tests didn't come back with more positive results. Will continue to pray for Asa and your family as you make all your preparations for surgery. Glad you found a doctor who does the less evasive kind...that certainly is a blessing!

Hi Amy,

Will be praying for your family. I remember Emma Demouy having that, I think. It was right when I was leaving PBC. Is that who you were reffering to?

I hope all goes well.
