Would you pray?

P1110004

We went for Asa’s 4 month check-up today.  He is growing very well.  Here’s how he measured up:

14 lbs 8.5 ozs

25 1/2 in.

However, he has a possible issue. The pediatrician could not feel the fontanels (not sure about the spelling?) in his head today.  She thinks they may have sealed up to early.  This is called craniosynostosis.  She has only seen two of these in her career.

They are scheduling him for a CT scan.  If it shows that this is correct, we will have to go see a neurosurgeon to discuss surgery for him.

I would appreciate prayers from all of my bloggy friends as well as my IRL friends.  Thanks so much!

Just wanted to keep you updated with our family.

praying that the tests will come out perfectly normal, and that it will be the report of the Lord not of man.

I will be praying that everything is normal and he is fine.

Oh Lord, we ask you to come alongside Amy and her family right now as they await testing. Lord, you already know the outcome of this and we place our trust in you. Bring them peace like they've never experienced.

Amen

Definitely praying for (very) cute Asa. Keep your eyes on Jesus and don't worry. Our King is in control - of all things. Find peace and comfort in Him!
