Happenings

It’s been a while since I’ve sat down and took some time to blog.  (Besides quick little posts)  Seems like we’ve been really busy since sweet Isaac was born.  I don’t have as much time to work on post or blog along with other things such as my exercising with the new nursing schedule.  This is such a sweet time with Isaac so I’ll just do what I can do when I can do it.

We’ve had doctor appointments, field trips, play dates with friends, school, and enjoying our new little one.  Seems like each week has several extra things added to it.

This week we celebrated my birthday on Tuesday.  It was such a nice day.  We had a new friend, Micah, and her family over to play.  She brought little cupcakes for the kids and treated me with lunch.  We had yummy Greek and Lebanese…YUM!!!  Another friend, Allison, and her kids stopped by for a little visit after lunch.  They brought me a DELICIOUS piece of cake from Whole Foods.

THANK YOU MICAH AND ALLISON!!!

That evening, Rob and the kids took me out to eat for supper.  Yay, I didn’t have to cook!

Yes, this is my birthday dessert :)

My friend, Christine, and her five children came in Wednesday to stay with us for a few days and meet little Isaac.  We had a field trip on Thursday to the K-9 Training Facility (I’ll blog about that soon.) and they were able to join us.

After the field trip, several families came over for lunch and play.  My friend, Candi, helped me learn how to wear my “moby” wrap that my other friend, Candy, made and gave to me.  I was very excited to learn how it works.

See how snuggly little Isaac is next to me!  He was purring in his sleep:)

As you can see, life is full and I feel very blessed.  Just wanted to say hello and let you know what’s been going on around here.

Looks like you had a fantastic birthday with friends and family.
What do you think of the Moby wrap? I really like mine. The weight of Cooper is well distributed. Yours is so cute. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday!! Your birthday cheesecake looks yummy :-)

Okay I think I need a wrap for Rosie. We are always carting her around and it would be nice to have something snuggly for her to rest in.

Is there an age that they outgrow it?

You look great. Waaay busier than me and still keeping up with life. You amaze me :-)
