Asa’s Birthday Get-Together

On Asa’s birthday, we had some friends over to celebrate his 2nd birthday.  It was a lovely day with plenty of sunshine.  The kids were able to run around and enjoy the outside. 

There were a total of 32 children (represented 7 families) here and 7 moms.  I think we were a little out numbered;)

We had way more boys here than girls for sure.  They were out looking and catching lizards and skinks.

Next, the boys started playing a game of football.  I think they played some soccer later that afternoon.

We enjoyed lunch together.  We had hot dogs/chili dogs, chips and dip, carrots, and grapes.

I love the way the girls sat on the bench next to Asa.  The big boys kept playing football while the younger ones gathered to watch/help Asa open his presents.

After presents, we had cupcakes and ice cream.  Asa wasn’t sure what to do with his candles so I had to blow them out for him.

We had a great day. It was fun hanging out, visiting, and celebrating with friends all day.

Asa is growing up too fast.  He is such a sweet and happy little boy.  He has definitely been a bouncing baby boy:)
