LIGO field trip

On Thursday, August 29th, we had a field trip to LIGO.

The kids really love the hands on science education center where we started the day.

Then we watched a movie that described what the scientists actually do at LIGO.

After the movie, we toured the area where the scientists work.

After a quick lunch outside, we went back inside to see some experiments.
