It's Been Awhile!

It's been awhile since I've taken the time to say hello and tell you how we're doing.  Life is busy as normal but we continue to press on to the work that Our Father has called us to daily.  We keep plugging along with school work. I continue to schedule monthly field trips and activities for our homeschool group, Bayou Cajun Homeschoolers.  This is a little extra something I enjoy doing for our children along with all of the many families that are a part of our group.  Rob continues to work from home along with going in to the office once a week for about 4 hours a day.  So as you can see, we are doing pretty good.

Thankful to report, that Rob has been having mostly good days.  He gets tired easily due to the strain of trying to stay in his wheelchair for longer periods with less rest.  However,  he hasn't had any health issues such as bladder infections, etc.  Praise to the Lord God Almighty!!!

We are preparing for our first overnight trip since before Rob's accident.  This will be a little bit of a challenge considering that he still sleeps in a hospital bed.  We will be attempting a hotel room (handicap accessible room) but that still means a regular bed.  Our bus will be packed to capacity with people and stuff but everyone is looking forward to a few days away.

I'd ask that you would continue to remember us in prayer.
1.  Pray for our trip!  That we would have a safe travel and be able to manage all of  the challenges that will come with our 1st trip.  We won't know what we need or how things will work until we try it...right?

2.  Pray for the Lord would grant Rob the continued good health.  He struggles with nerve pain but overall health has been good.

3.  Pray for our daily challenges.  We all have the issues from time to time.  However, we know and continue to witness that our God is faithful to His children.

We are so thankful to all of you who continue to remember our family.  Thanks for stopping by to check on us.  I'm sorry that this post is so short.  I'm sure I could fill pages with info if time allowed but unfortunately there is only so much time in the day and so much to take care of too.

Feel free to leave us a note or send us an email (contact button on the right hand side of the page).  I'll try to reply to you.

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Ps 115:1
