Ribbon Bar Cheesecake

In my previous post, I talked about the Thanksgiving Celebration that we will be attending tomorrow. I made another dessert more for the "mommies" which is a Ribbon Bar Cheesecake. The jello is mainly for the kiddos but feel free grown-ups to join in on the J-E-L-L-O fun!

Oreo bottom crust:)

Peek-a-boo I see you!

Cai and Abram were my little helpers for this dessert today.

Mixing the cream cheese and sugar...this was actually taken while it was mixing!

Stirring in the eggs...one at a time! (Very Important)

Taking a lick!

Getting ready to bake.

I normally don't follow a recipe exactly but change it up some to make it mine. I love doing these kind of things. I omit the pecans and coconut in the crust. (Sometimes I do the pecans and sometimes not...I have a friend whose children are allergic to nuts!) I personally do not like coconut flakes!! I feel like I'm eating hair or fingernails...yuck! Just my opinion;)

I wish I could have come to you all's Thanksgiving celebration. It brings back so many great memories of when we used to do our co-op Thanksgiving feasts! Instead I am spending my whole day reading like mad...I have four papers due in the next two weeks! Oh well, I guess it is the calm before the storm!
I will look forward to seeing pictures from the day!
