We made it back home on Saturday with Mammaw. She made the trip well and seems to be settling in. She was pretty exhausted from the four hour car ride but she was able to rest once we got home. As I said in a previous post, we moved all of the children out of one the rooms to make her a room. Hope she enjoys it.
Today, we will try to do some school work along with the normal things for Monday as we adjust to adding another to our home. Hospice will have different ones in and out so we will see how things go. Not going to stress out to get everything that is normally accomplished done today. We will get done what we are able and press on the following day.
This is a cross that was given to Mammaw as a gift the day before we left by a very dear friend of hers. We hung it up on the wall so she could see it from her bed.
We look forward to serving and providing for her needs during this time in her life. Continue to pray for our family as we adjust and serve our Lord in this new adventure.
The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation;this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
