Priestly Breastpiece

We are studying about the journey in the wilderness of Moses and the Israelites. During that time the instructions for the tabernacle and priestly garments are given. Today we colored a sheet to represent the breastpiece of the priest during that time. It has twelve stones on it to represent the twelve tribes of Israel. We did a simple project this week since we are out of town and helping out this week with Rob's mammaw. We just brought our Tapestry stuff to work on this week while we are here and will pick up with the rest of this week's work next week. (1 week done in 2 weeks!)
These are their breastpieces.

See Candi's blog for pictures regarding the shofar and the priest. She always does a great job doing these types of things with her children.

There shall be twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel. They shall be like signets, each engraved with its name, for the twelve tribes.
Exodus 28:21
