Patio Project ~ Part 3

Part 3 of this project is where Rob used the tractor to pull out all of the topsoil and grade out the patio area. This allowed it to be ready for the dirt work and framing.

This is Rob right up along side our little concrete area at the back door.

All ready for the rest of the project!

We went ahead and decided to get a construction company to come in and finish the job. They are going to do the dirt work, framing, and concrete.
We brought in the professionals since there are a few issues with the sloping and plumbing access so we wanted to make sure it was done correctly. The dozier in the picture was dropped off last night along with their equipment truck so they could start on it this morning.
If the weather stays nice then they should be able to pour concrete on Monday. We'll see because there was a slight problem this afternoon. They busted a water line to our sprinkler systems so they are having to repair it as well. As I sit here typing, I can hear them outside talking. Looks like they are going to have to bring in another load of dirt. This will make the 6th load of dirt for this project. We had already gotten 2 loads dropped off before we hired them. Hope this doesn't cause too much of a delay. Looking forward to the final outcome. I have taken and will continue to take pictures while the professionals are working. I hope to be able to give you an update soon!
