This is the final post for the project except for maybe a before and after shot once we decide on landscape and such.
Yesterday, the crew came out and started on our patio by doing the dirt work to build up the area. It took 6 dump truck loads of dirt for the new patio area.

This is some of the dirt that had been dumped and the spreading has begun.
They were digging to find the leak from the busted pipe. There are three pipes on top of each other in this location. Guess which one busted? The bottom one of all things. They dug it up and repaired t and all was good.
YEAH!!! They finished it today. I couldn't believe it. Two days and it"s done. They will come out the first of next week to removed the support wood from around the sides but we will be able to walk on it tomorrow if we like. We will probably wait until Monday to let the kids get out on it just to make sure. Very excited. Can't wait for our church's 4th of July picnic that will take place at our house so that we can use it.
Hope I haven't bored you too much with our patio project! :)

That will be a lot of fun and good for little ones to practice their pedaling.
That is so neat! I've been wondering exactly what happens when making a new patio...and now I know! :) It looks wonderful...lots of fun times ahead, I bet!
Looks great! your family will enjoy it for many years to come. We made our back patio bigger last summer and put the boys handprints. Precious memories!
Wow, now THAT's a patio. I too look forward to the picnic. I'll bring a ton of sidewalk chalk and play "Picasa on the Beach", LOL!
