Eat Mor Chickin!

Today is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-a restaurants. If your brave enough to dress up like a cow, you receive a free value meal. If you just wear something with a hat or sign, you can get an entree. We have never done this before but thought it would be fun to do as a family. The boys did their school work this morning and then began making their cow suits. All 7 children and myself dressed up like cows. We decided to go for lunch today. While we were there, several of our friends showed up dress up too. It was a lot of fun. After lunch, the children played in there play area.

When we got there, they took pictures of our family and gave us some Polaroid pictures to keep. I didn't even know they still made Polaroid cameras!!!

Eating lunch

Yes, here I am dressed as a cow. Some of my spots fell off in the van. It was a little hard to drive in this outfit. The children were white cows with black spots and I was a black cow with white spots. We even wrote "Eat Mor Chikin" on our outfits.
After most of my spots fell off, I took my costume off and was freed from the bondage of the bag! Of course, right after that one of our local news stations came in with their camera filming different people. Christine's husband was on camera in his attire along with her daughter, Katie. Our other friends, Mrs. Starr and her children, came in while the news camera was there and they made it in front of the camera as well.
If your brave enough, there is still time to dress up and head on over. It last all day today. You can get free supper tonight if you dress up like a cow!

Amy, I just love it! If it had not been my birthday today, we may would have done it! It was just too busy. Oh well, maybe next time!

I wanted to do this but the preteen girl wouldn't be "caught dead or alive in a cow costume." I was willing to leave her at home. Mabey next year. Looks like fun.
