Bridal Shower for Chelsy

On Saturday, the ladies of our church hosted a Bridal Shower for Chelsy at my home. She is the bride-to-be to Jason, our pastor's son. It turned out lovely and we all had a great time.

Yummy food!
We did brunch since we had the shower at 10 AM.
We had coffee, hot tea, orange-pineapple juice, and water as our beverages.
The Eggplant color is the color of her bridesmaid dresses.
Party favors made by Mrs. Liz

We had a time of food and fellowship before we opened presents.

Little Katie helped to hand her the gifts.
Every woman needs one of these!

This was a drawing that was done by Rachel who is in high school homeschooler. She drew it and framed it for Chelsy and Jason.
The will be a precious keepsake.
It is a picture of a man's hand holding a woman's hands. Above it is written Genesis 2:24:
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Chelsy's mom gave her a gift that contained something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. This is "the something old". It belonged to Chelsy's grandmother and dated back to the 1940s. It was in great condition.

Jason popped in at the end to say hello and help take the presents.

Her mom surprised her and flew in for the shower.
Everything was very nice. They received a lot of nice things to get them started. Thank you ladies for making this a special time for Chelsy!
