Yesterday, we took Tate to a pediatric eye doctor to check on his eyes. He has failed the eye exam at the pediatrician's office two years in a row in his left eye. It was determined that he is going to have to wear glasses all the time to help him. The good thing is that his problem may be corrected with the glasses if he wears them like he is supposed to. If they do not seem to help then we will have to do "patching" to try to teach his brain and left eye to work instead of his right eye only.
We had to order the frames we liked in the correct size for his head and were going to go back on Wednesday to try them on before we ordered them. However, they came in earlier so the kids and I went today to check them out.
Here is Tate getting measured for his lenses or something! You can see some of the boys' heads in the picture. They enjoyed getting to see Tate try them on.
He should get them in about 7-10 days so I will post another picture of him with the official pair once he gets them. Hopefully he will adjust to them quickly and take care of them properly!!!! :)

Tell him he looks handsome...both my kids had to wear them for about a year each!
Doesn't he look adorable!!! I think he looks as cute as ever!! At least it might be temporary...
He looks very handsome!
He looks like such a cutie with his new glasses. All of mine will be going to the eye doctor soon. Jason and I both have had to wear glasses so I figure I better get them all checked out.
How cute! When my oldest son was in preschool, he had to wear glasses all the time. He wore them for about 2 years, then his eyes strengthened, and he didn't need them anymore. I've recently taken him to the eye doctor for a check up, and his eyes are now perfect!
