Saturday night Asa had his 1st real bath. His umbilical cord stump fell off when he was a week old. I was just waiting to get his little foam mat. (I like to use the foam mats because they are inexpensive and I can throw it away when we are done which is usually when the child can sit in the tub by his or her self. The other plus is that I don't have to store it until the next one. We just buy a new one when we need it.)
As you can tell. he hated his first bath! He screamed the entire time. He was so mad that he pooped on his mat along with squirting the side of the tub. That's much better! I'm back in Mommy's arms snuggled in my towel:)So much better!

LOL...exactly what Ladybug did! :)
Awwww...poor baby!! You know what?? I think he looks a lot like Emma.
I think they all hate their first baths! I used to use that same foam insert! And I know we all have stories of that squirting poop!! Too cute.
I love the final picture when he looks happy that Mommy rescued him from that terrible fate!!
Oh no, but he looks content in the end.
It scared me that my daughter didn't like her bath because I remembered my youngest siblings enjoying it.
Hope Asa gets to liking his bath time more. We also use the same mat for all the same reasons...I love those things!
Awwwww!!! He's adorable!!! Shame on you for making him endure that horrible bath!! LOL
Poor baby! I used the spongy mat also. We had received the other type of baby tubs as gifts, but they were so awkward to use so we used the soft sponge type.
I love when they are all cuddly in a towel after a bath. It is so sweet! Asa looks nice and content!
