This past Sunday marked a very important day for our church and for our family. My husband, Rob, was ordained for the gospel ministry of Jesus Christ. He/we have been preparing for this day for around 3 years.
He will join our church as the second pastor/elder so that the church can follow the pattern of plurality of elders in the church. This has been a prayer for our church and for Pastor Dale for many, many years and the Lord as answered.
We look forward to seeing the work that our Lord has prepared for Rob and for our family. May our Lord use this ordinary man for His kingdom and for His glory.
Romans 10:14
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
1 Corinthians 1:21
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

What a joy. I know how proud you are of him. I cannot wait to see what God has planned for your family and church.
What a blessing it will be for me to have you as a elder's wife in our church. It is difficult for a man to pastor alone, but it can be hard for his wife as well. I am thankful for the role you have already undertaken and the love I have for you. God bless you!!
