A “Pink” Baby Shower

Friday, I was able to attend a very special baby shower for my friend, Candy.  This was a very special shower due to the fact that Candy has a difficult time getting pregnant plus has lost a couple of babies as well.  Her daughter, Kaylee, is almost 14 and her son, Jonah, is 6 so it’s been a while since she’s had a little one much less a “pink” one.

We are so very excited to meet this little precious baby girl, Leah Rose, when she arrives.  The Lord has truly blessed her parents and they both love the Lord Jesus Christ with all their heart and soul.

Specially wrapped gifts from Candy’s mom.  Mrs. Linda loves to wrap up her gifts in special ways.  Yellow is Mrs. Linda’s favorite color and the roses for the baby’s middle name which is also her middle name:)

There was a special guest (Blossom) that came to the shower. 

Blossom (Ms. Fay) is an older lady in Candy’s Sunday School class who did a silly little skit which was hilarious.  Then, she got serious and talked to Leah Rose via Candy’s tummy.  She also sang to her.  It was a tear jerker.  (Laughter to tears quickly)

Gratitude

Can’t you tell how grateful and thankful she was for all of the friends and family who came to celebrate with her!

Everyone had a great time and the food was great.  Her Sunday School class did an excellent job decorating, the cake, and food. 

We LOVE you, Candy!!!  Can’t wait to meet Leah Rose:)
