Construction Update ~ Wk 5

There was a lot more work going on this week.  At least there was a lot more work at the beginning than the end of the week.

You can see the progress of the shop in the different set of pictures.

They actually started some of the framing on the house this week, too.

We’re hoping the shop gets finished first so Rob can go ahead and move his stuff in there.  This would allow us to get rid of the storage unit that we are renting each month.  The plumbers are supposed to come and trim out the bath in the shop and fix a mistake in the downstairs bath.  Plus, there should be a lot more progress on the shop and the house.

The weather is looking good for the next several days which is good because some of the work that needs to be done is dependent on the weather.  They have to tear down the existing roof over our garage and frame up the new part all together in order to protect our existing sheetrock below and in the house that isn’t supposed to change.  We don’t want to have to replace and fix it due to rain!

lots of progress! I keep telling my hubby we need just one more room! He's mentioned finishing the attic but I'm not ready to tackle that one. can't wait to see pics when it's all done.

Wow, there is so much building activity going on! The shop looks like a casita/cottage.
