It’s happened again! Cai has another accident related to our construction project. What am going to do with him?
Cai and Ian were out gathering and stacking our old, whole bricks for some friends of ours while the bricklayers were tearing down the old bricks from the house. I guess they got side-tracked because Cai was climbing out of the dumpster while Ian was throwing a half brick into the dumpster. Needless to say, it missed the dumpster and hit Cai in the back of the head!
They came in with a towel on Cai’s head full of blood. He was crying and Ian was trying to tell me what happened. This is all I need for the day. You see I had a list of things I had to get made for our VBS that started that evening and couldn’t afford a trip to the ER.
After looking at it, sending a picture to Rob, and discussing it with him, we decided that Cai would be all right. I emailed our doctor and she said it should be fine and didn’t need stitches.
This could have been really bad. Thank you Lord for protecting Cai and not allowing the situation to be worse!
I’ll ask again, “What am I going to do with Cai?” You’ve gotta love him :)

I am so glad you didn't have to make an ER trip~ Poor guy!
What are you going to do with him? Why create a scrap book of all his wonderful "adventure" marks. It will be his absolute favorite book :-)

Oh I am so glad you didn't have to take him to the ER, or he didn't get hit in the face. I am a nervous wreck around possible "danger" zones with me kids (like when they are throwing bricks!) Boys!!
