Thursday evening, Rob came home from lunch and said, “Let’s go to the park.” I had cooked supper but we knew it would take less time to just get food from a drive-thru and eat at the park instead of eating and cleaning up the kitchen. We just ate that supper the following night.
Quick trip through the drive thru with a dollar menu feeds a family of 10 for less than $23!
Happy kids around the picnic table…
I tried to get a picture of Cade and Ian together but they kept acting silly.
Asa playing in the sand.
Side note: I hate dislike sand on playgrounds.
Then it was time for some football!
Here’s the little ones trying to find some left over food to snack on while the others were playing football.
Teaching Abram to kick the ball.
Sarah sharing French fries with Asa.
Here’s some extra pictures of Asa from that night:
We had a lot of fun. We’ve been so busy with the construction that it was good to stop and spend some family time together.
