Last Saturday, we had Asa’s 1st birthday party. My mom, aunt, and uncle had come in for the weekend so we thought we would celebrate with them a few days early along with a good friend of mine and her children.
This was the cake that we got to eat. We did a Noah’s Ark theme. Yes, the ark was edible. The animals were candles. No, I didn’t make it. A lady who makes cakes out of her house in our area made it for me along with his little cake.
Asa’s personal cake
These are some of the decorations that my aunt’s students made for his party.
Lots of food
We had a chicken tray, BBQ beef for sandwiches, vegetables, fruit, Rotel dip, spinach dip, crackers, and chips.
The special birthday boy getting ready to eat.
Present time
He had plenty of help opening his presents!
Standing and reading his card
Demolished cake
A bath was needed after his cake playtime!
This was during the party but afterwards we went down to see the alligators so that will be part 2. Coming soon….

As always, your aunts students did a great job with the decorations! Asa is growing so quickly! What big helpers he had with the presents! ;)
I am sure he loved his cake ( Zechariah would be jealous!)...and bath!

Happy Birthday little Asa~
