On Our Way Home

On our way home Saturday from spending Thanksgiving with our family, we stopped at our half-way point.  It’s a nice scenic area that has picnic tables, swings,a gazebo, a visitor’s center, a medical center, hotel, etc. along the Mississippi River.  The city of Vidalia has done a great job making this a nice area to stop us and their community.

My aunt made us turkey sandwiches and sent us with chips and other snacks for lunch.  This was a great time for us to just spend time as a family.

After lunch, the kids ran around a little bit to get out some energy.  Then, we decided to try to take a few group shots.

We spent a couple of hours there just having fun together.  Then, we loaded up and headed back home.

Thanks Aunt Pat for packing us a lunch!

Some great shots and a great stopping place. When we travel to Rich's families house we have one town we always stop in. They have a quiet little park that we can run around and be loud in and no one is ever there to care.
