Two weekends ago, we (the ladies at my church) were able to host a baby shower at our house for one of the ladies at our church. This is their first child and they are so excited!!!
Vanessa and Walter are expecting a sweet little girl in a few weeks. She was able to be with me at the hospital during the birth of Isaac. I think she was a little terrified of the whole process but I pray that it will benefit her in the end.
We had lots of yummy treats to eat. Vanessa had a lot of her friends attend which made for nice fellowship.
My friends, Candi and Candy, and I made her a diaper cake. Candi made the diaper cake, Candy crocheted all of the flowers and added alligator clips which can be used on headbands or in her hair when she gets older, and Candy’s mom did the bow for me. I didn’t do much. I just put the ribbon on and placed the flowers on the cake. Thanks Candi and Candy!!!
The cake was made by Amy C. from church. She always does a great job with her cakes. This was a pink onesie with little handmade bears. Thanks Amy C.!!!
Candi also made this corsage for me out of little ruffle socks and a pink headband. Thanks again, Candi!!!
What would I do without my creative friends???
We had lots of yummy food!
Here’s the proud parents to be:
After we ate for a little while, we had a time out on the patio playing several baby shower games. Then, we went into the living room for Vanessa to open her gifts.
Look at this little cutie who came with his mom to help out!
Happy Momma :)
Vanessa, we can’t wait to meet your precious little girl!!!
