4th of July Picnic ~ Let the Party Begin

On July 4th, we held our church’s annual 4th of July picnic at our home.  It is always a fun time of fellowship, food, and a good time to invite friends and family to join us.

My husband, Pastor Rob, loves to be festive and decorate for the occasion.  Here’s some of what he did around the house for the picnic:

The church provides the meat and drinks while everyone else brings sides and desserts.  Pastor Dale cooks/grills all of the meat for us.  As always, he did a fantastic job.

We did a headcount and came up with a total of 76 people (could be more if we didn’t forget someone).  It was a fun day.  We enjoy spending the day with everyone.  We usually end up eating the food again for supper with those who are still around:)

I have two more post to do which will be pictures from the badminton tournament and random shots from the day.
