Rob Update 7/14

From earlier today:  Rob is doing fine. He said he got a little sleep last night. He was tired when Amy went to visit because of all the testing that he had done this morning (ct scan, chest x-ray, ultrasound) to make sure he didn't have any blood clots in his legs. He's had a lot of evaluations by different therapists in order to get a plan of action for him. On Monday, he will start his intense therapy and Amy will be attending classes all day dealing with spinal cord injuries. Also, Amy was able to get a good night's rest since she is staying at a friend’s parent’s house.

Thank you so much for all the updates - first thing I check in the morning is my 'reader'. Glad to hear there is progress & he is getting rest (and Amy too). Thinking of the Shelby family every day, not just once. Love & strength from the Redekers in Germany

Dear Shelby Family,

I found a link to this blog on FB this morning.

My family lives in Baton Rouge too.

My husband broke his neck on July 5th when he was only 18 years old. Same exact diving accident!

The Lord completely healed him. This was many, many years ago.

We will now lift up your precious family before the Lord daily.

Your faith is such a testimony to the Lord! We know God is in complete control.

And he is ABLE to do ALL things!

Keep holding on to your HOPE.
