Rob Update & Prayer Requests 8/7

Amy sent me a text this morning saying that she was having an emotional day and asked for prayer.  Please join me in lifting her up as she continues to care for Rob and resume her motherly duties.

From Pastor Dale this morning:

Pastor Rob is continuing his daily regimen of rehab, at times exhausting. He’s working hard. He is glad to see his kids each evening and continues to enjoy your visits. Amy is driving back and forth, spending time both in Prairieville (home) and the apt. in New Orleans with kids in tow. She has some other classes to attend this week to prepare her for caring for Rob.

Current needs:

1. Rob is presently suffering from a bladder infection. Pray for his speedy recovery from this.

2. A very present need is another vehicle that will accommodate a wheelchair lift and seat 12. They are currently looking at a used bus type van with a lift located in Alabama. The cost is $18,000. New they are over $60,000. They will most likely face this expense before he leaves the hospital in three weeks. If you know of another vehicle of this type let me know. If you can make a donation it would be a great help. There is a link on our website that describes the two ways of giving – either through PayPal or an account we’ve set up at Capital One. Another option is for you to just send a check to Trinity and I will make the deposit for you (contact info on website). Several have chosen this option. Even small donations are greatly appreciated.
