Be Devoted in Prayer/Update

It's been a while since I've had a chance to post something on our blog.  I wanted to let you know that we continue to press on each and every day.

The children are doing well.  Anna Claire (7 months old) is growing like a weed, scooting/crawling across the floor, sitting up, and enjoys real people food not baby food.  The other children have been enjoying their "summer" break along with our monthly field trips. (Yes, I am behind on 2 field trip posts!). We plan to start our new school year next week (if I can get everything finished and ready to go).

Rob continues to work from home but goes into the office about once a week for a few hours.  He's working up to 20 hours a week.  Plus, he still goes to 2 hours of therapy twice a week.  For the most part, he has been healthy.  However, Rob has been feeling pretty bad for the past 6 days.  We think he may have a virus that some of our kids have had recently.  It is keeping him very fatigued.

A week ago, I and the others at church were blessed to hear Rob preach his first sermon since the accident during our Wednesday night service.  He is such an encouragement to me and others.  I've attached a link to his sermon at the end of this post.

Prayer requests:

1. Continue to pray for Rob’s strength and healing. I love him so much and am inspired by his hard work and attitude. The Lord has truly blessed me with this man. He continues to press on more and more every day.

2. Pray that the Lord would guide us and help us to accomplish all that needs to be done each day regarding school, the home, training up our children in the ways they should go, chores, and normal daily tasks.

3. Pray that the Lord would continue to show himself through our family and that He would continue to receive all of the praise and glory through this journey that He has purposed for us to walk. He continues to open up opportunities for our family to exalt the name of Christ Jesus.

4. Pray for me as I continue to care for Rob, the children, and all of the additional and regular daily tasks. Help me not to murmur or complain but to do it lovingly. Pray that I would be patience with the children and learn to speak softer instead of louder. I struggle each and every day and continue to be a work in progress. May the Lord grant me strength to be a godly wife and mother each day! Thankful that even when I fail, He is there, grants me forgiveness, and a new day to try again. This is a daily challenge!!!

5.  Pray for Rob as he has not been feeling well for the past several days.  Pray for increased strength and energy!

6.  Pray for us as we begin our new school year.  We will have 8 children doing "school" work.

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Ps 115:1

He must increase, but I must decrease.  John 3:30

Hello Sweet Precious Woman of the word,Its been a while since I have been here,I thank Our Lord Jesus Christ for His prompting. I'm amazed but not surprised at how the Lord is blessing you and your clan, Father God has His ways in how He pours out His strength, Kindness and incredible mercy each and everyday through the love He so graciously showers on you . He is getting "all" the Glory in your family,(it is very evident),for only could such words of Love and encouragement, testimony of who our Lord is, draw all and focus all on the "one who" sustains you each and everyday. As the testings and trials try your very flesh daily, our precious Lord Jesus is but a breath away and is so quick to answer your cry when you call upon His name.I have no idea what your day "really" must be like other than what you write,Sheesh {10 kids} what a breeze---Ha!---Oh Lord Jesus Only,Only! can you get through a day with our Fathers hand reaching down and upholding you.In the valley I know this is where we are laid bare and transparent and the flesh is either slayed or pleased---Its a daily disciple, challenge, commitment, surrender, and very humbling,I'm sure.We can only go to our Lord and confess our weaknesses and ask Him to grow us up Quickly, and purify us through the fire of refining in those areas that are exposed through the trying in our circumstance, Oh Lord how much more can we be stretched to the very brink of insanity,Oh God you knew I would be here today, So Oh Lord what are you going to do about this? By His spirit are we made aware of His presence if He is who we place all our dependency on! and "He becomes Magnified" and not our circumstance. Then we realize His Grace is sufficient--- Oh Dear Sister in Jesus you are an incredible encouragement in Jesus Christ. Shield to shield. May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to shine and be Magnified as you share with us how He continues to Bless and take you through this life He has ordained for you. My heart aches, and rejoices with you and your precious family. We have a very Beautiful Savior, Our Lord gives us this side of heaven to be all that He has created us to be In Him. Bless you Dear Sister in Jesus Name, We pray that each day the Lord Gives your Husband another day that He be healed from the Inside out,Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us, We pray that the Lord will bless your Quiver that He has filled with arrows to be set apart for His Glory, that they see their Father and Mother so in Love with Jesus that Papas Affliction becomes a mere shadow compared to the person of Jesus Christ in Him.Thank you Jesus for this Precious family,Bless them incredibly with your presence upon them daily, protect these children,Keep your angels charge over and around them when they play,at school and sleep.create a deep satisfied longing in their hearts to desire you and only you Lord Jesus, help them to be little and big helpers with joy and thanksgiving with their Mama and Papa Oh Father how things change the very fabric of young ones lives, and how the older have to step up to responsibility sooner than later, but how you have your way of softening the fragility of suffering.Your strength intercedes and intentionally takes over in the young as they see the need.Father continue to Bless this Mama with your super natural hand upon her, fill her with a joy, peace, comfort, strength, compassion, carefulness,
tenderness,kindness,mercy,grace,
patience, understanding, your incredible wisdom, and the "Faith" that "who" she calls on and cry's out to she knows that she knows you O Father God are the Living God, the one who say's you are who you are and does what you say you will do.You are testing the Faith of this family to be "genuine faith" in you. May many come into relationship with you Lord Jesus, knowing the "cost" to follow you.I Love you Dear sister in Jesus
