Knights and Princesses

Saturday I took the boys to a birthday party. Emma and Sarah stayed home with Rob and Mammaw. The party was for three boys and a girl, two of our friends decided to do a joint party since their children had birthdays close together. Micah and Kaylyn turned 8 and Josiah and Caleb turned 6. The theme was knights and princesses.

This was some of the decorations!

They played several games especially the knights. They were catapulting acorns to see whose acorn would go the farthest.

The girls were making princess hats while the knights had their competitions.

Some of the princess hats!

Christine modeling one of the hats :)

Ian with his sword getting ready for the jousting competition. Two knights had to race to the opposite side and pop a balloon with their swords. The first to pop the balloon was the winner.

Cade was racing against Ian!

Tate getting ready for his turn.

They had made paper mache pinatas in the shape of knight helmets. The children were blind folded with their helmets while Cesar moved the pinata around. Caleb was taking his turn.
Ian busted this one. Tate went before him and split the bottom which helped Ian to complete the task! Good teamwork;)

The children ravaging the treats!

The knights had to race pulling the princesses in the wagons.

Opening presents.

Castle Cake
Great job Christine!

The birthday girl, Kaylyn, made this cake.
You did a great job Kaylyn!!

Josiah and Caleb blowing out their 6 candles!

Micah and Kaylyn blowing out their 8 candles!

Some of the children eating their cake and ice cream.

Princess Emma
I was able to make Emma her princess hat since I didn't bring her with me. Christine was disappointed that she didn't come so this picture is for her!
It was a great party!
Happy Birthday Kaylyn, Caleb, Micah, and Josiah!!
