The next day after Tate’s run-in with the “stump”, Rob had Cade and Ian dig a deep circle trench around it so that he could come home from work and cut it off very short below the ground with his chainsaw.  The boys handled the task excellently and it’s gone.  Cade covered the hole back up so there is hardly any remembrance of the stump except for Tate’s face!!!

No, this is not what Cade was working on in my post from yesterday.  He was chopping the rest of a large tree that wouldn’t burn in our fire pile.  He chopped it into smaller sections so it would burn better.  It was much larger than the stump for sure:)
