Armpit Fudge

Kristal over at Knit1Kids4 did a post about Armpit Fudge.  Yes, it sounds gross but I knew it would be right up my kids alley:)  I decided this was going to be our dessert for lunch yesterday.  So, Tate, Abram, and Sarah helped me put all of the ingredients in each bag for the kids (minus Asa) and myself.

P8260004 Sarah was so cute trying to squeeze the ingredients under her armpit!P8260010Each of them tried mixing different ways.  Everyone tried the armpit, their hands, and some tried their knees.  They had so much fun that some of them got tiny holes in their bags :)

You can tell that Ian was enjoying this activity!  He was very animated to say the least.

The end result…now I don’t think we took the time to mix it together as well as it should have because it didn’t make the same looking fudgy consistency that Kristal had but it still tasted yummy!

P8260027 Here’s the recipe:

Armpit Fudge

  • 1/2 cup confectionary sugar
  • 1 T butter
  • 2 teaspoons cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Place all ingredients in a sandwich size ziploc bag.  Squeeze air out and seal.  Then squish away – under your pits, between your knees, with your toes, between your neck and shoulder, or just with your hands.  When well mixed open bag and eat with spoon.  You can also add things to it when you are done mixing, like marshmallows, candy pieces, peanut butter, nuts.

Let me know if you try it with your kids. They’ll love it :)
